INDIAN WELLS -- World's best tennis player Novak Djokovic of Serbia has defend his title at the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells as he defeated Roger Federer of Switzerland.

The match ended 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2 late on Sunday.

INDIAN WELLS - Serbia's Jelena Jankovic has failed to win the first place at the WTA tournament in Indian Wells, since she lost to Romania's Simona Halep 2-6 7-5 6-4 in the final on Sunday.

Jankovic started off well and was on the way to win the final.

Romania Defends NATO Missile Defence Plans

"The anti-missile system is only for self-defence, as defined by the UN charter, and has nothing to do with Russia," Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu said on Saturday.
