Transylvania Rookie Fest - young snowboarders show, this weekend

Competitors from Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania will face off this weekend, in the Platos Arena fun-park in Sibiu County, seeking to gain the title of the Transylvania Rookie Fest in one of the two age categories - Grom and Rookies, a release remitted to AGERPRES informs.

NATO Approves Immediate Establishment of Command Centres

NATO's defence ministers approved at their meeting on Thursday the immediate establishment of six command and control units on its eastern flank.

The six countries that are to host the command centres are Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania.

NATO to boost eastern defences after Russian 'aggression'

European Commission upgrades Romania 2015 growth estimates to 2.7 pct

The European Commission has upgraded its estimates of the Romanian economic growth in 2015 up to 2.7 percent as compared to 2.4 percent growth it had predicted in November, shows the winter forecast made public by the European Union executive on Thursday.

Senate rejects law on prepaid mobile phone cards

Senators on Thursday rejected the law for the modification and completion of Government Emergency Ordinance (GEO) No. 111/2011 on electronic communications, sent back to Parliament for reexamination following the Constitutional Court of Romania ruling deeming it unconstitutional.

Domestic A Group Players Dominate National Football Team's Lineup

Gorghiu: We are discussing censure motion with all, PSD included
