President Iohannis: We want to develop relations with China by diversifying economic cooperation, broadening inter-human ties
President Klaus Iohannis said on Thursday that he wants relations with China to develop by the further diversification of economic cooperation and the broadening inter-human ties, as he holds that this way Romania will also contribute to the achievement of the goals of the EU-China 2020 Strategic Agenda for Cooperation.

Iohannis: Moldova's and Ukraine's European path, one of main foreign policy concerns

Bankers reject conversion of Swiss franc credits by law
Imposing solutions for Swiss franc debtors by law, against the market principles, could result in a lack of predictability in economy and investments and in unfair discrimination among banks' customers, the Council of Bank Owners of Romania (CPBR) stated in a release to AGERPRES on Thursday.

Brussels Lauds Romania's Reforms to Justice
A new report by the Cooperation and and Verification Mechanism, CVM, issued on Wednesday by the European Commission, said Romania was improving its justice system, but resistance to the integrity and anti-corruption drive had continued.
Justice Minister Cazanciuc: CVM Report, the best so far
Minister of Justice, Robert Cazanciuc, on Wednesday said about the CVM [Cooperation and Verification Mechanism] Report, as published earlier in the same day, that it was "the best so far", marking a series of "uncontestable progresses" in key areas such as the fight against corruption and the implementation of the new Codes.
