Justice Minister Cazanciuc: CVM Report, the best so far

Minister of Justice, Robert Cazanciuc, on Wednesday said about the CVM [Cooperation and Verification Mechanism] Report, as published earlier in the same day, that it was "the best so far", marking a series of "uncontestable progresses" in key areas such as the fight against corruption and the implementation of the new Codes.

Bulgaria: EU Commission's 2015 CVM Report in Brief

The European Commission published on Wednesday, January 28, reports on Bulgaria and Romania under the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (CVM) to summarize the two countries' progress in 2014 in areas such as judicial reform, fighting corruption and (in the case of Bulgaria) fighting organized crime.

Serbia at bottom of Euro Health Consumer Index

BRUSSELS -- Serbia is at the bottom of the the Euro Health Consumer Index 2014, placing 33rd on a list of 37 states, the Beta news agency has reported.

Serbia was given 473 out of a maximum 1,000 points and, compared to 2013, went up one place.

Social Democrats propose a register of Romanians living abroad

The Social Democrat Party (PSD, main at rule) has proposed on Wednesday, during the meeting with President Klaus Iohannis at the Cotroceni Palace, a register of Romanians living abroad to be fathered, and the activity of the Parliament to be alike the European legislative's, said the party's chair, Prime Minister Victor Ponta.

Healthcare in Bulgaria Ranks Among Poorest in Europe

The healthcare services provided in Bulgaria rank among the poorest in Europe, according to the Euro Health Consumer Index (EHCI) released by the Health Consumer Powerhouse on Tuesday.

Bulgaria obtained 547 out of 1000 possible points, ranking 30th out of 36 countries included in the survey.
