EU Commission Foresees No Compensation for Bulgarian Dairy Farmers

Bulgaria's Agriculture Minister Desislava Taneva announced that the European Commission is not going to compensate dairy producers, who have been affected by the sanctions imposed on Russia.

Last week dairy producers said they would demand support from the Commission as their earnings have decreased since Russia imposed an embargo from the EU.

Former president Basescu complains to Government about protocol house

'Weak' Moldova Government Worries Romania

Romanian analysts have expressed concerns that Moldova's chances for future integration into the European Union are diminishing after the formation of a weak minority government in the neighbouring former Soviet republic.

After months of negotiations, the Liberal Democratic Party, PLDM, and the Democratic Party, PDM, agreed late on January 23 to form a minority government in Moldova.

Gov't discusses opening border crossings with Romania

BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted at Friday's session the bills confirming an agreement between the governments of Serbia and Romania on opening international border crossings at Jasa Tomic, Nakovo and Vrbica on the Serbia-Romania state border.
