Party warns that "1990s are back"
BELGRADE -- Serbian society is unsafe today, the 1990s are returning, says the Social Democratic Party (SDS) spokesman Konstantin Samofalov.
According to him, "it is clear to everybody that freedom of the media is under threat in our country, and censorship and self-censorship increasingly common."

Deputy speaker attends conference on IPA funds in Skopje
BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Parliament Speaker Vladimir Marinkovic participated on Tuesday in Skopje in a regional conference on oversight of IPA funds, organized by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
Marinkovic pointed out that Serbia has used 98 percent of funds under the IPA 1 program, his office stated in a release.

BELGRADE -- The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) and the Dveri Movement set up "an opposition patriotic block" on Monday which opposes Serbia's EU and NATO membership.
The bloc "advocates economic patriotism, intensified cooperation with Russia and defense of the Serbian Constitution."
Serbia and Algeria can enhance economic cooperation
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly Mohamed-Larbi Ould Khelifa said on Tuesday that the two countries have strong and friendly relations, and the Algerian official invited Serbia to take part in the realization of his country's economic development plan for the coming period.
