Miscevic: Screenings for 26 chapters completed
BELGRADE - Head of Serbia's team in EU accession negotiations Tanja Miscevic said on Tuesday that screenings for 26 out of 35 chapters in the accession talks have been completed so far.

Serbia will have at its disposal EUR 1.5 billion from the EU IPA II in the next seven years, Jadranka Joksimovic, minister without portfolio in charge of the EU integration, said on Tuesday, stressing that an innovation has been introduced and the EU funds will no longer be used for particular projects, but for sectoral projects.
Davenport: EU - Serbia's biggest partner in flood recovery
SMEDEREVSKA PALANKA - Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport visited on Tuesday flood victims in the municipality of Backa Palanka, whose homes are being repaired thanks to the EU funds.
Davenport said that by the end of the year, a total of 600 houses will be repaired in Serbia, 85 of which will be built.

BELGRADE -- An agreement has been signed for a Japanese donation for buying EUR 720,000 worth of medical equipment, the Japanese embassy has stated.
The document was signed by Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Masafumi Kuroki and Serbia's Minister without Portfolio in charge of EU integration Jadranka Joksimovic.
