Serbia and Algeria can enhance economic cooperation
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly Mohamed-Larbi Ould Khelifa said on Tuesday that the two countries have strong and friendly relations, and the Algerian official invited Serbia to take part in the realization of his country's economic development plan for the coming period.
French Week in Belgrade
BELGRADE - The French Week to promote French products and economic, cultural and historical ties between France and Serbia began in Belgrade on Monday and will remain open until November 23.
The second French Week was organised by the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with its members.

Goran Percevic remanded in 30 day detention
BELGRADE - The Belgrade Higher Court remanded owner of Interkomerc Goran Percevic in 30 day detention on suspicion that he was involved in fraud in Univerzal banka worth several million dinars.
Percevic was remanded in detention because of the danger that he may exert pressure on witnesses in the course of the investigation, states the release issued by the Higher Court of Belgrade.
Tabakovic: Serbia's banking system is stable
BELGRADE - Serbia's banking system is highly liquid and stable, and there are no reasons for worry, National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic has said.
Certain banks were, however, shut down last year due to the country's poor regulations for setting up companies, Tabakovic said for Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) on Monday evening.
