Troicki loses in Shenzhen quarter-finals
SHENZHEN - Serbia's Viktor Troicki has failed to reach the semi-finals of the Shenzhen ATP tournament after losing to Santiago Giraldo of Colombia 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 on Friday.
It was Troicki's second career defeat to Giraldo, who previously beat him in Hertogenbosch in 2010.

BELGRADE - VAT may increase by three to four percent in Serbia in case savings measures do not produce the expected effects, economic experts said on Thursday.
The Serbian government announced only the 2015 savings programme with plans for budget deficit reduction by EUR 700 million, professor of the Belgrade Faculty of Economics Milojko Arsic said.
Men's volleyball team still third in CEV ranking
BELGRADE - Men's volleyball team of Serbia still takes the third place in the latest European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) ranking.
CEV has published the ranking after the end of the world championship in Poland, and Serbia is still ranked third with 324 points, the Serbian Volleyball Association released in a statement.
Three Children Die in Fire in Belgrade
Three children aged five, seven and nine, died on Thursday night when a fire broke in the barracks in which they lived in New Belgrade municipality.
Rade Milosevic, chief of the city department for emergency situations, said the fire erupted in the 20-square-metre barracks quickly as it was made of cardboard and wooden boards.

NEW YORK - Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met on Thursday with Swiss President and Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter to discuss the OSCR's role in solving the Ukrainian crisis.
The chief topic of the meeting was Serbia's presidency of the OSCR in 2015 and the takeover from Switzerland, the curerently presiding country.
Serbia ease past Cameroon for third World Championship win
TRIESTE - The Serbian women's volleyball team beat Cameroon 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 26-24) in their World Championship Pool B, Round 3 match in Trieste, Italy on Thursday.
Coach Zoran Terzic's team scored their third consecutive victory after beating Turkey (3-0) and Bulgaria (3-2).
There will be no fixtures on Friday, and Serbia will next face Canada on Saturday.
Belgrade Gastro Fest to be held on October 16-19
BELGRADE - In collaboration with the Diplomatic Association of Serbia, the Culinary Federation of Serbia will organise the first Belgrade Gastro Fest on October 16-19 at the Belgrade Fair, the organisers announced on Thursday.
"The Balkan gastronomic spectacle" will feature 500 Serbian and international professionals in the field, they said in a statement.
