Belgraders welcome medal-winning Serbian athletes
BELGRADE - A crowd of more than 20,000 people gathered in Belgrade late Monday to welcome the Serbian men's basketball team, which won the silver medal on Sunday at the World Cup in Spain.
Also welcomed were the women's shooting team, which won the gold medal at the World Championships in Granada, as well as world wrestling champion Davor Stefanek.

BELGRADE - Serbian police evacuated around 370 people from the flood hit areas in the municipality of Kladovo, eastern Serbia, late on Monday.
Around 300 people were evacuated from Tekija, including a woman and her one-and-a-half months old baby, Serbian Ministry of the Interior (MUP) said in a release.
FIAT top exporter despite production halt
BELGRADE - Car maker FIAT tops the list of Serbian exporters with EUR 947.2 million worth of exports in the first eight months of 2014, the Serbian Finance Ministry said in a release.
FIAT has been the biggest exporter over the first eight months of the year, despite the slowing down of exports in August due to the annual vacation shutdown and machine overhaul, the release states.

According to reports of state-run RTS television, some 370 people were evacuated Monday in the region of Kladovo.
Emergency situation has been declared in a number of regions, including Kladovo and Negotin, due to flooded roads and bridges and landslides.
