Zimonjic and Nestor ousted in quarterfinals in Cincinnati
CINCINNATI - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Canada's Daniel Nestor have failed to reach the semifinals of the ATP Masters in Cincinnati.
They lost to Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France 6-3 6-4 on Friday.
The French duo will face Canada's Vasek Pospisil and Jack Sock from the US in the semis.
The prize fund for the tournament is USD 4 million.
Ana Ivanovic in semifinals, Jelena Jankovic ousted
CINCINNATI - Serbia's Ana Ivanovic beat Ukraine's Elina Svitolina 6-2 6-3 at the WTA Cincinnati 2014 on Saturday to reach the semifinals.
Her next opponent will be Russia's Maria Sharapova, who beat Simona Halep of Romania 3-6 6-4 6-4.
Another Serbian contender, Jelena Jankovic, lost to Serena Williams of the US 6-1 6-3.

BELGRADE - There is considerable potential intensified cooperation between Serbia and Krasnodar region in the sectors of energy, infrastructure, construction industry, agriculture and tourism, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) Zeljko Sertic and President of the Trade-Industrial Chamber of the Krasnodar region Yuri Tkachenko agreed on Friday.
International Novi Sad Literature Festival opens on Aug 25
BELGRADE - The 9th International Novi Sad Literature Festival will take place from August 25 to 29, the Association of Writers of Vojvodina announced on Friday.
During the four-day festival, authors from Serbia and abroad will read their poetry and prose at an open-air venue in downtown Novi Sad and take part in panel discussions on modern literature.
