PM in Moscow: I always feel good in Russia
MOSCOW -- Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday received his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić, who is on a two-day working visit to the Russian Federation.
The prime ministers are meeting in Gorky, near Moscow, and will later be joined by their delegations.
Lajovic beats Montanes
BASTAD - Serbia's Dusan Lajovic defeated Spain's Albert Montanes 6-3 1-6 7-6(4) in the 1st round of the SkiStar Swedish Open in Bastad on Monday.
Lajovic missed two match points at 6-5, but that did not stop him from taking the victory in the tie break and paying Montanes back for the defeat in Umag last year.
Dacic attends UN Economic and Social Council
BELGRADE - Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic will attend a two-day meeting of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in New York starting on Monday and inform the members of the council about the extent of the damage caused by the May floods in Serbia and also invite them to take part in the donor conference in Brussels on July 16.
Blast furnace at Zelezara Smederevo relit
SMEDEREVO - Blast furnace no. 2 at the Smederevo-based steel plant Zelezara Smederevo was ignited on Monday, restoring the production after two months.
The first tons of liquid iron will be transported to the steel mill in the next two to three days, while other sections of the plant will be put into operation successively.

He added that "recognizing the independence of Kosovo," proclaimed unilaterally by ethnic Albanians, "has never been a topic of negotiations between Belgrade and Priština in Brussels."

BELGRADE -- The Serbian government has decided to establish a joint business organization with the Abu Dhabi-based company Al Rawafed.
The company is "an official representative of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government," it has been announced.
Zimonjic/Stosur win Wimbledon mixed doubles
LONDON - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Australia's Samantha Stosur won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title after defeating Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Chan Hao-ching of Chinese Taipei in straight sets (6-4, 6-2) in the final match on Sunday.
This is the first Wimbledon mixed doubles trophy for the experienced 38-year-old Zimonjic, two-times champion in the men's doubles competition.
