Mihajlovic to meet municipal, city officials every week
BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic will meet the heads of municipal and city administrations on Thursday, June 26, to discuss issues on a local level, the deputy prime minister's office announced on Sunday, adding that from now on such meetings will be held on a weekly basis.
Putin to meet Burkhalter, Dacic in Vienna
VIENNA - Russian President Vladimir Putin is to arrive on a one-day visit to Vienna on Tuesday, where he will meet with the chair-in-office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Swiss President Didier Burkhalter, as well as the next OSCE chair, Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, the Austrian media report.
Dragoslav Kosmajac left Serbia?
BELGRADE - Dragoslav Kosmajac, named by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic as the biggest drug lord in Serbia, has left the country, the Belgrade-based daily Blic reports.
As no arrest warrant is issued against him, he left to Montenegro a free man, using his Slovakian passport and crossing the state border at a less busy Jabuka checkpoint on the night of Friday to Saturday, says Blic.
Antic: Serbia to be Russia's priority in terms of gas supply
MOSCOW - Serbia will be a priority to the Russian Federation in terms of natural gas supply, especially in the winter period, regardless of the fact that Russia and Ukraine are in a very sensitive phase of relations in connection with the transport of Russian gas across the territory of Ukraine, Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic has told Tanjug.
Serbia bests Australia, to take on Hungary in final
DUBAI - Serbia's water polo team reached the final of the World League tournament in Dubai on Friday beating Australia 12:5 (2:1, 5:2, 2:0, 3:2).
Defending champion Serbia will next take on world champion Hungary that outlasted Montenegro 10:8.
The final is scheduled for Saturday 16:30 CET.

Budget deficit reaches RSD 114.6 bln in five months
BELGRADE - Serbia's budget deficit reached RSD 114.6 billion in the first five months of 2014, Ministry of Finance stated in a release.
The deficit totals RSD 116.6 billion at the state level, as it includes expenditure for project loans, which, although not a budget item, is an item of state spending.
NC EU to improve efficiency of accession process
BELGRADE - The first plenary session of the National Convention on the European Union (NC EU), aimed to promote the debate on all aspects of EU integration and achieve the broadest possible social consensus on the EU accession, was held on Friday in the presence of members of the government, the parliament, and the civil sector.
