Turkish film 'Swaying Waterlily' wins in Montreal
Turkish director Seren Yüce's film "Rüzgarda Salınan Nilüfer" (Swaying Waterlily) has won the Best Script Award at the 40th Montreal Film Festival, which ended on Sept. 5.
The Best Film Award went to the Croatia, Macedonia, Czech Republic and Slovenia co-production "The Constitution," directed by Rajko Grlic.
Exporters call on envoys from 73 countries to spread Turkey's devotion to democracy
The Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM) has called for some 181 envoys and civil servants from 73 countries across the globe to talk about Turkey's devotion to democratic rule and robust economy in their countries and to boost cooperation with Turkey during a three-day meeting hosted in the Aegean province of Çanakkale on Sept. 2-4, the association said in a statement.
Dacic taking part in Bled Strategic Forum
Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic is visiting Slovenia on Monday and Tuesday.
He is traveling to that country in to participate in the Bled Strategic Forum's panel dedicated "Western Balkans: is the EU still a pull factor?", the Serbian government announced on its website.
Slovenia's ice hockey team secure Olympic berth
This will be Slovenia's second appearance at an Olympic ice hockey tournament after the 2014 Games in Sochi, Russia, where they made it to the quarter-finals.
The lynx took a lead on a power play through Rok Tičar scoring two goals in the 22th and 23nd minute. Belarus equalised in the 52nd after two goals by Adrei Stepanov.

Outdoor library season begins
The first outdoor library will open in Ljubljana's Tivoli Park, one of eight locations in the Slovenian capital and arguably the most popular such venue in the country.
