Terror suspects detained in new Istanbul raids

Turkish security forces staged simultaneous anti-terror operations in Istanbul early on Feb. 5, police sources have said.

The anti-terror branch of the Istanbul Police Department carried out dawn raids at 10 different addresses in the Esenyurt district on Istanbul's European side.        

Police have yet to release the exact number of suspects detained.

Bulgarian MPs Approve Participation of Allied Aircraft in Joint Air Policing Missions

The Bulgarian parliament approved on Friday amendments to the Defence and Armed Forces Act allowing the participation of allied countries in missions on guarding the country's airspace.
