Two more arrested over deadly Istanbul bombing

Turkey has arrested two more suspects over the deadly attack on a tourist spot in Istanbul that killed 10 Germans on Jan. 12, bringing the total number of arrests to 12.

Top EU official calls for ceasefire, return to Kurdish peace process

EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn has called for an urgent ceasefire and a return to peace talks, stressing that measures taken by Turkey must be "targeted and proportional" and the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) must lay down its arms. 

Leading Turkish businessman Mustafa Koç suffers heart attack

Turkey's leading businessman Mustafa Koç suffered a heart attack on Jan. 21.

He was hospitalized to Istanbul's Beykoz State Hospital and his condition reported to be critical.

Koç was later transferred to the Vehbi Koç Foundation American Hospital (Amerikan Hastanesi), which he owns, by helicopter.

Leading Turkish businessman Mustafa Koç dies of heart attack aged 55

Mustafa Koç, the chairman of Turkey's largest conglomerate, died of a heart attack on Jan. 21, the Vehbi Koç Foundation American Hospital in Istanbul has announced. 

He had been brought to Istanbul's Beykoz State Hospital on the morning of Jan. 21.
