Bulgaria has ranked worse in the 2015 Legatum Prosperity Index than did last year, losing three spots.
The Prosperity Index uses "both income and wellbeing" indicators to measure prosperity, focusing on criteria as diverse as social capital, personal freedom, safety and security, health, education, governance, and entrepreneurship, apart from economy statistics.
Nov 1 elections: A sad picture for women
The losers of the Nov. 1 elections were again women. According to unofficial figures, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) has 34 women deputies, while the Republican People's Party (CHP) has 21, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has 23 and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) has three, equaling 81 women deputies in total.

Kosovo Parliament ratifies agreement with EU
Kosovo's Parliament has voted overwhelmingly to ratify a stabilization and association agreement with the European Union, considered a milestone for its economic growth.
The 120-seat Parliament voted with 86 votes for the deal signed last week in Strasbourg, France, that opens the way to eventual full membership in the EU, Kosovo's main trading partner.
