Sberbank to provide 500 mln euro loan for third Istanbul airport

Russia's largest lender, Sberbank, has granted ?GA Havaliman? ??letmesi (IGA), the builder and future operator of a third airport in Istanbul, 500 million euros in credit for the project, according to announcements by both parties. 

President Erdo?an and former President Gül hold surprise meeting in parliament

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an and former President Abdullah Gül held a surprise meeting in parliament on June 19, the first such meeting since the June 7 general election.

Erdo?an and Gül met in the office of Parliament Speaker Cemil Çiçek for around an hour.

Russia, Greece Sign Memorandum on Construction of Turkish Stream Pipeline

Russia and Greece signed on Friday an intergovernmental cooperation memorandum on the construction of a continuation of the Turkish Stream pipeline on Greek territory.

The document was signed by Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and his Greek counterpart Panagiotis Lafazanis during the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

US training for Syrian rebels moving slower than expected: Pentagon
