Bank Hapoalim says its Turkish bank gets takeover approach

Bank Pozitif has received an initial takeover approach from a potential investor, the Turkish bank's parent company Bank Hapoalim said on May 12.

Hapoalim, Israel's largest lender, said in a statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange that the unnamed investor has offered to buy all of Pozitif's outstanding shares, including the 70 percent stake held by Hapoalim.

Turkey, Azerbaijan begin joint military exercises

Turkish and Azeri armed forces May 12 started joint military exercises in the Azeri capital of Baku and Nakhchivan, the Azeri Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The exercises would continue until May 17 and were being held within the framework of a military cooperation agreement between Turkey and Azerbaijan, it said.

Bosch to invest 200 euros million in Turkey in 2015

Bosch announced an investment plan of 200 million euros ($223.6 million) for Turkey this year on May 12.

In his keynote speech at Bosch's annual meeting, President of Bosch Turkey and Middle East Steven Young said the company has full confidence in Turkey and believes in its potential.
