Opposition candidate İhsanoğlu: 18 million additional ballot papers printed
Presidential hopeful Ekmeleddin Ä°hsanoÄlu has raised concerns over the transparency of the upcoming elections, as he has said some additional 18 million ballot papers were printed.
He based his claims on the figure presented by a recent study by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) group.

Second wave launched against police officers in wiretapping probe
A second operation was launched early Aug. 5 against police as part of the âillegal wiretappingâ probe in 14 provinces across Turkey.
Police raided colleaguesâ residences at a number addresses around Istanbul, daily Hürriyet has learned. The list of detentions include 33 police officers according to initial information.
