All Boeing 777s Aircraft Grounded after Engine Malfunctions

Boeing 777s have been grounded around the world after the US aviation regulator announced an investigation into the United Airlines flight that suffered an engine failure on Saturday, showering debris over homes in Denver.

Italian ambassador killed in Congo while in UN convoy

The Italian ambassador to Congo and an Italian carabinieri police officer were killed on Feb. 22 while traveling in Congo in a U.N. convoy, the Foreign Ministry said.

In a brief statement, the ministry said Luca Attanasio and the officer were killed in Goma, the eastern regional capital. They were traveling in a convoy of the U.N. stabilization mission in Congo.

Turkish firm sets up Libya's largest concrete factory

A Turkish company, Karanfil Group, has established the largest concrete production facility in Libya, it said on Feb. 22.

To date, $10 million were spent on the facility, said Karanfil Group's CEO Fatih Sarı, adding that the company aims to increase the investment up to $50 million.
