Turkey, Iran, Russia meet in fifth Syria summit

The presidents of Turkey, Russia and Iran will come together on Sept. 16 in Ankara for the fifth summit under the Astana Process where they will discuss the recently increased tension in the Idlib province of Syria as well as attempts to start a political solution to the nine-year turmoil in the war-torn country.

A meeting between Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York at the end of the month is "very likely," government spokesman Stelios Petsas said on Monday.

Speaking to Skai TV, Petsas said that the details for such a meeting are currently under discussion and no date has been set.
