Dončić makes the all-NBA first team

The remaining players selected in the first team were Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks), James Harden (Houston Rockets), LeBron James and Anthony Davis (both Los Angeles Lakers).

James and Antetokounmpo were selected directly, followed by the three players with the most votes: Harden, Davis and Dončić, who averaged 28.8 points in 61 games this year with 9.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists.

Dončić set the world of basketball alight after joining the Dallas Mavericks in 2018, being chosen as the rookie of the season for 2018/2019.

This season, Dončić was selected to his first NBA All-Star Game as a starter, making him the youngest European player to start in an All-Star game. He also made his way to the playoffs for the first time with the Mavericks, but they had to concede victory to the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round.
