The number of Bulgarian children abroad is over 200 000. This is clear form the data in Protocol No. 7 of a meeting of the Commission on Policies for Bulgarians Abroad,  BGNES reported.

Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov has moved to lift the immunity of GERB MP Zhivko Martinov, according to BGNES.

The parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) decides Wednesday on whether or not to exclude MP Georgi Kadiev.

Kadiev announced the measure on his Facebook profile after a meeting of the BSP group which ended late on Tuesday.

Bulgaria's Parliament is to elect a new Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) by July 8 at the latest, according to Menda Stoyanova, Chair of the parliamentary budget and finance committee.

Stoyanova announced in a Wednesday interview for Bulgaria on Air TV that it was possible that the name of the successor of the incumbent, Ivan Iskrov, was clear by July 1.

Bulgaria's Parliament has established an ad hoc committee in connection with a set of proposed constitutional amendments.

The establishment of the committee was backed by 118 MPs, with 4 votes against and 14 abstentions, according to reports of dnevnik.bg.
