Commander of Bulgarian Air Force Withdraws Resignation After Talks with PM

Commander of the Bulgarian Air Force, Major General Rumen Radev, who had submitted his resignation earlier on Thursday, withdrew it after a conversation with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

Borisov familiarised himself with the problems of the Bulgarian Air Force, which were pointed as the motives behind the resignation of General Radev.

US sends search-and-rescue aircraft, crew to Turkey

U.S. aircraft and about 300 Air Force troops have begun arriving at a military base in Turkey to provide search and rescue capabilities for the fighting in Iraq and Syria.
     
Pentagon officials said there will be a number of Pave Hawk helicopters and search-and-rescue versions of the C-130 transport plane stationed at Diyarbak?r Air Base in southeast Turkey.

Following the ruling not to prosecute in the investigation concerning the incident that resulted with the death of 34 citizens at Uludere, the families of the victims filed an objection to the Air Force Command Military Court. 

This objection, despite the dissenting vote of the chief judge, was rejected by two lower ranking military judges.
