Commander of Bulgarian Air Force Withdraws Resignation After Talks with PM
Commander of the Bulgarian Air Force, Major General Rumen Radev, who had submitted his resignation earlier on Thursday, withdrew it after a conversation with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
Borisov familiarised himself with the problems of the Bulgarian Air Force, which were pointed as the motives behind the resignation of General Radev.
Russia sends troops to fight in Syria
Russian lawmakers voted unanimously to let President Vladimir Putin send Russian troops to Syria, paving the way for open Russian intervention in Syria.
However, the Kremlin said Russia will only use its air force and not ground troops.

US sends search-and-rescue aircraft, crew to Turkey
U.S. aircraft and about 300 Air Force troops have begun arriving at a military base in Turkey to provide search and rescue capabilities for the fighting in Iraq and Syria.
Pentagon officials said there will be a number of Pave Hawk helicopters and search-and-rescue versions of the C-130 transport plane stationed at Diyarbak?r Air Base in southeast Turkey.
Russian parliament grants Putin right to deploy troops in Syria
The Russian parliament on Sept.30 unanimously granted President Vladimir Putin the right to deploy the country's military in Syria, a move a top Kremlin aide said related only to the air force.

This objection, despite the dissenting vote of the chief judge, was rejected by two lower ranking military judges.
