Al Shabaab attacks UN compound in Somalia's capital

A heavily fortified compound in Somalia's capital Mogadishu was attacked by al Shabaab militants on March 18, local media reported.
Local broadcaster Dalsan Radio said mortar shells were fired at the Halane compound, which houses U.N., EU, and African Union facilities, as well as embassies of countries including the U.S. and U.K.

Russian media: Turkish military forces strike Russian aircrafts

"The Syrian army is literally being rescued by aviation - both by their own and Russian aviation. The Syrian Air Force and Russian Air Force planes stop militants day in, day out," Middle East correspondent Evgeny Poddubny said.
According to him, Turkish forces and militants are actively using air defense systems. Russian and Syrian aviation use heat baits for fire protection.

Turkey, Kenya set to ink new cooperation agreements in March

Turkey and Kenya are set to sign new cooperation agreements aimed to avoid double taxation and improve cooperation in the field of agriculture next month, said the Turkish envoy in Nairobi.

"Once these agreements are concluded, we hope they will help further boost our trade and economic cooperation," Ahmet Cemil Miroğlu said in an interview with Anadolu Agency.
