Tirana Govt Funds Ethnic Albanian Council in Montenegro

Faik Nika, the president of the Albanian National Council, said on Friday that the Albanian government will give financial support for the first time to assist the running of his organisation and its office in the municipality of Plav.

Nika told Montenegrin media the Albanian government has recently made three very important decisions for the Albanian community in Montenegro.

Protesters gather outside Albanian Embassy in Athens over ethnic Greek's killing

Dozens of protesters gathered outside the Albanian Embassy in the northern Athens suburb of Filothei on Sunday evening to protest the killing earlier in the day of an ethnic Greek man in the village of Bularat, some 6 kilometers from Albania's border with Greece, earlier in the day.

Effort made to go through with Albanian PM's visit

BELGRADE - Albanian Ambassador in Belgrade Ilir Bocka said on Thursday evening that an effort is being made to go through with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit to Belgrade, scheduled for October 22, and voiced confidence that the Albanian side was not behind the recent incident with a 'Greater Albania' map.
