ISIL claims responsibility for Baghdad's suicide attack

ISIL claimed responsibility early on Jan. 22 for Baghdad's suicide attack, via the group's Amaq news agency on its Telegram channel.

Two men blew themselves up in a crowded Baghdad market on Jan. 21, killing at least 32 people in Iraq's first big suicide bombing for three years, authorities said, describing it as a possible sign of the reactivation of the ISIL.

ISIL opened fire at a ceremony in Kabul on March 6, killing at least 32 people in the first major attack in the city since the United States reached an agreement with the Afghan Taliban on a phased withdrawal of U.S. troops.

A top Afghan political leader, Abdullah Abdullah, was present along with other key political figures and escaped unharmed.

Suicide Bomber Kills more than 100 at Pakistan Election Rally

A suicide bomber killed 132 people at an election rally in southwestern Pakistan in the second election-related attack on Friday, officials said, amid growing tensions over ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif's return ahead of the July 25 vote.

The bombing was the most deadly attack in Pakistan in over three years and is the third incident of election-related violence this week.

Islamic State claims attack at Iranian parliament

Several assailants raided the holy shrine of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, South of the capital Tehran on Wednesday morning, wounding two people in a bomb attack and a shooting spree, Fars reported.

FNA reports said three unidentified armed men srated a shooting spree at Imam Khomeini's shrine this morning.

ISIS claims respobnsibility for Manchester Arena attack

Islamic State claimed responsibility on Tuesday for the Manchester Arena terror attack that killed at least 22 people Monday night outside an Ariana Grande concert in the British city of Manchester.

According to Israeli media and the AMAQ news agency affiliated to the organisation, ISIS said in a video they posted online that “This is just the beginning.”
