Turkish experts, NGOs launch 'Love Flower Alliance' at COP26
A group of experts and leaders of various non-governmental organizations from Turkey launched a new environmentalist initiative on Nov. 3 at the U.N. climate summit currently underway in Glasgow, Scotland.
The "Love Flower Alliance," which aims to sustain a "livable ecosystem" was launched at the U.N. Climate Change Conference, or known as COP26 this year.
Turkey's annual inflation rate at 19.89% in October
Turkey registered an annual increase of 19.89% in consumer prices in October, the country's statistical authority announced on Nov. 3.
The annual inflation rose by 0.31 percentage points from 19.58% a month ago, while the figure was 11.89% in October 2020, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.
Ertegün brothers subject of documentary
The Ertegün brothers, the sons of former Turkish Ambassador to Washington Münir Ertegün and one of whom launched Atlantic Records, contributed to the elimination of racial discrimination in the US and were revolutionary, director Ümran Safter, who made a documentary about them, has said.

A woman, who has worked as a textile engineer for six years in the western province of İzmir, has quit her job to start a new life in the southwestern province of Muğla as a beekeeper.
"I recommend beekeeping to all women entrepreneurs. Women can do everything," Aslı Temiz told state-run Anadolu Agency.

Tomb structures in Gölyazı open to tourism
The necropolis (cemetery) of the ancient city of Apollonia ad Rhyndacum will be opened to tourism in the northwestern province of Bursa's Nilüfer district as "Little Venice."
Restoration works have been carried out in the area following the necropolis excavation, which was completed under the scientific consultancy of Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ).
