Benaki Museum hosts exhibition dedicated to painter Dimitris Mytaras
Benaki Museum hosts an exhibition dedicated to the Master and Academician Dimitris Mytaras, whose presence honored as much the Greek and international art scene, as well as the Athens School of Fine Arts. The exhibition opened on February 2 and it is scheduled to run until March 8.
Mytaras is considered one of the important Greek painters of the 20th century.
In Athens, street art vents anger over austerity

A giant lion roars against the backdrop of a battered Greek flag in wall art covering the side of a school building in a working-class Athens suburb.
The creation is one of many examples of street art across the Greek capital expressing the despair of ordinary people after four years of government belt-tightening at the behest of international creditors.
