Turkey has formally requested the extradition of fugitive businessman Sezgin Baran Korkmaz from Austrian authorities.
Korkmaz, who had been sought for money laundering allegations both by Turkey and the U.S., was arrested on June 19 in Austria.

Doris Gruenwald, 26, discovered the error after a blood test four years ago revealed that she was not the biological child of Evelin and Josef Gruenwald. She was subsequently adopted. The Gruenwalds’ natural child has not been found.

An Austrian court has sentenced a Bulgarian national to five years in prison for people smuggling, The Associated Press reported on Wednesday.
The court in the city of Linz had found the 41-year-old Bulgarian man guilty of people smuggling after police discovered 20 migrants tightly packed in the back of his refrigeration truck when they stopped the vehicle in August 2015.
