The Bosnian state court on Monday acquitted Malko Koroman of the unlawful detention of Bosniak civilians at the police's Public Security Station in Pale and in a gym, where detainees were abused, tortured and killed, between April and September 1992.

At the time, Koroman was the chief of the Public Security Station in Pale, the wartime stronghold of the Bosnian Serb authorities.

Judge Davorin Jukic told a hearing on Wednesday that the Bosnian state court has confirmed an indictment charging Dzevad Avdicevic, Ahmed Hadzajlic, Muharem Efendic and Izet Ikanovic, as commanding officers and servicemen of the Bosnian Army, with committing crimes against prisoners of war in the area of Teocak during 1993.

Bosnia Acquits Serb Ex-Policemen of Srebrenica Genocide Charges

The Bosnian state court found Miodrag Josipovic, Branimir Tesic, Dragomir Vasic, Danilo Zoljic and Radomir Pantic not guilty on Monday of participation in the partial extermination of Bosniaks from Srebrenica in July 1995.

"The prosecution has not proved that the defendants had the intent to commit extermination," said presiding judge Minka Kreho.
