Charles III awarded two Bulgarians with Orders of the British Empire
The British King Charles III awarded honorary degrees to two Bulgarian citizens in recognition of their significant contribution to the strengthening of relations between the United Kingdom and the Republic of Bulgaria, reported the British Embassy in Sofia.

Emma Hopkins Appointed British Ambassador To Bulgaria
Emma Kate Hopkins OBE has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Bulgaria, announced the British Embassy in Sofia.
She will succeed Jonathan Allen, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
Hopkins will take up her appointment during May 2015.
Ambassadors Issue A Statement Of Support For Sofia Pride 2014
Diplomats encourage people and institutions in Bulgaria to stand up for and support open-mindedness and tolerance towards the LGBTI people.
On 3 July, Ambassadors of a series of Sofia-based embassies issued a statement of support for Sofia Pride. The statement, published on the website of the British embassy in Sofia, reads:
Bulgaria's President to Meet Queen Elizabeth II
The British embassy in Sofia said that Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev is to meet Queen Elizabeth in London on March 18.
During his visit to the UK, Plevneliev will be accompanied by a business delegation who will attend a business forum organized by the UK department for trade and investment.
