The European Parliament will speed up the approval of the vaccination passport launching an urgent procedure. The aim is to start using the document by early summer.
Some MEPs stressed the need for strict safeguards for the protection of personal and medical data and stressed that the unvaccinated should not be discriminated against.
easyJet aims to carry 1 mln tourists to Turkey
British travel company easyJet Holidays is aiming to bring about 1 million tourists to Turkey this summer, its CEO has said.
"easyJet offers 18 routes between the United Kingdom and Turkey. As the travel restrictions are lifted, we are hoping to fly to the country with 1 million seats. Turkey has been one of the best-selling destinations during the pandemic," said Garry Wilson.

The UK government has announced its decision to delay deadlines for changing border controls in relation to the import of products from the EU into the UK with six months.
In an announcement yesterday the UK government said that it has reviewed time frame originally set out for its changed trading relationship with the EU.
Online exhibit celebrates Turkish artists in UK
A virtual art exhibit, to support Turkish artists in the U.K., became available for online visitors on Feb. 17.
The 3rd Annual Turkish Community Art Exhibition, organized by Yunus Emre Institute and Turkey's Consulate in London, opened online due to coronavirus restrictions taken by the British government to curb the spread of the virus.

Peaking case rates from the new virus strain mean one person in every 50 in England now has Covid-19, while in London one in 30 is infected, official survey results showed.
