Brexit: MEPs are Concerned about Citizens' Rights

MEPs confirmed to Horizon the European Parliament's readiness to approve the Brexit Agreement on January 29th. This is expected to happen at a parliament session in Brussels.

The deal was approved by the British Parliament on January 10th. Under the terms of the agreement, Britain is due to leave the EU on January 31st.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's top priority is to deliver Brexit on January 31st and then negotiate a free trade agreement with the European Union and other leading global economies, Queen Elizabeth said on Thursday outlining plans for a new UK government, reports BNR.

EU leaders have urged London from Brussels to ratify the Agreement on the Withdrawal Bill as soon as possible and to start negotiations on future relations.
"The UK will become a 'third country', but we will build a unique partnership. Brexit is not the end of something, it is the beginning of excellent relations between good neighbors", the European Commission President said.
