A British Royal Navy ship will supply aid to Gaza as part of an international effort to help set up a new humanitarian maritime corridor in early May, the foreign office and ministry of defense said on Saturday.

The test firing of a Trident missile from a Royal Navy submarine has failed, for the second time in a row.
The UK Ministry of Defense on Tuesday confirmed the incident, which took place at the end of January, saying there had been a mistake involving the Vanguard submarine, but they said no further details were being shared for security reasons.

The Turkish Directorate of Gallipoli Historical Site has opened the ships sunk during naval operations in the Gallipoli campaign of World War I in the western province of Çanakkale for tourism.

Six F35-B Lightning warplanes, the UK's newest fighter, arrived Tuesday at a British air base on Cyprus for training and a systems test in the aircraft's first overseas deployment.

A fire on marine explorer Jacques Cousteau's iconic ship Calypso has delayed the vessel's restoration by between six to eight months, a representative of the Cousteau Society said on Sept. 20.
