Bulgarian Political Parties want Health Minister Katsarov's Resignation

So far, three parties have officially adopted positions against the new anti-epidemic measures imposed by Health Minister Stoycho Katsarov and have even called on him to resign.

At the same time, mass outrage against him erupted on social media - both against the restriction of movement and visits to various sites, but also because the measures are too late and ineffective.

Bulgarian Socialist Party to Try to Appeal New Debt of BGN 16 B at Constitutional Court

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has drafted an appeal to the Constitutional Court against the new debt of BGN 16 B.

A motion needs to be backed by at least 48 MPs to reach the Constitutional Court, with BSP having a total of 39 MPs, according to dnevnik.bg.

Bulgarian Cabinet Reshuffle to Be Announced Next Week

Changes in Bulgarian government are to be announced next week after a detailed analysis of the year it was in power, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) officials said.

Reshuffles are also likely among the ruling party's top cadres, but its leader Sergey Stanishev will remain head of the socialists, BSP Executive Bureau member Borislav Gutsanov announced after a Tuesday session.
