Official: Lubo Penev is the New Coach of CSKA Sofia Taking over from El Maestro

CSKA Sofia have hired former Bulgaria boss Lubo Penev as their new coach to replace Nestor El Maestro, who left the job by mutual consent, the Bulgarian club said on Friday, reports Reuters. 

The 52-year-old Penev, one of the Balkan country's soccer icons, began his third spell at his former club CSKA after signing a one-and-a-half-year contract.

Krasimir Balakov Named New Litex Coach

Bulgaria's legendary 1994 World Cup midfielder Krasimir Balakov is the new head coach of Litex Lovech.

Balakov's contract will be for 2 years and will start on June 10. He replaces Serbian manager Miodrag Jesic, whose contract was not renewed.

Litex finished the Bulgarian League in 3rd place this season, which means the team will play in the Europa League qualifying rounds.
