Eva Maydell: Digital Technologies are Moving with the Free Movement of Data in the Union

The Bulgarian MEP from GERB / ​​EPP Eva Maydell met the Polish Minister of Digitization Christoph Schubert on Tuesday, December 5 in Brussels, reports 24chasa. 

They discussed the main legislative acts of the European Commission in the field of the Single Digital Market. This was announced by the press office of GERB.

A Bulgarian Horo is Going to Take Place For the 5th Time on Brussels' Central Square

For the fifth consecutive time a Bulgarian horo will take place in the central square of Grand Place in Brussels, Focus News Reported.

 This year, the organizer of the event is the Bulgarian MEP from GERB/EPP Eva Maidel, who continues the tradition launched by Kristalina Georgieva, Deputy Chair of the European Commission (2014-2016).

MEPs Want Visas Reimposed on US Citizens

MEPs have called on the European Commission to take reciprocal measures against the US due to ongoing US visa requirements for citizens of Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Poland and Cyprus.

European Parliamentarians have urged the Commission to adopt the necessary legal measures "within two months", the parliament said in a resolution adopted on Thursday.

Bulgarian MEP Barekov Promises Free iPhones in Schools

Each school student should be handed an iPhone due to the intensive development of mobile technologies, Bulgarian MEP Barekov said while unveiling his program.

Presenting his party's platform ahead of the early vote on March 26, Barekov pointed to that as the only socio-economic promise he would make for the election.
