A coordination center "Plovdiv - Ukraine" is being established in the city under the hills. The open telephone line (+359) 032 / 605-550, which will be open 24 hours a day, will collect information on accommodation and employment opportunities for refugees from Ukraine from all municipalities in the district, employers, the Bulgarian Red Cross in Plovdiv and individuals.

The bank account is published on the website of the Bulgarian Red Cross, and later an additional option for online donations will be activated through the website of the organization.

The campaign for collecting material donations throughout the country continues, the organization announced.

How to Help People in Ukraine if You are in Bulgaria

Late last night, another 90,000 tests for COVID-19 for students arrived at the warehouse of the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC), the Ministry of Education announced. Today they are distributed in schools. Thus, the shortage of tests for students from grades 1 to 12, who will return to class on December 6, has been reduced to 60,000.

All students from 1st to 12th grade will return to school from Monday, Health Minister Stoycho Katsarov assured the media.

In the morning, the experts from the Ministry of Health discussed the possibilities for providing a safe environment and the possibilities under which students can return to class.

According to the director of the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross Emil Neshev- Bulgaria will not have an air ambulance before 2023.

The Bulgarian government has decided to allocate EUR 100,000 as first aid to Croatia to help the Balkan neighbor  repair the damage from the powerful earthquake in which seven people died.

"It is too early to talk about loosening the restrictive measures. We will make a detailed analysis, and then we will be able to decide - which measures are to be relaxed, if at all. As health minister, I will insist that the measures remain the same after 21 December, because every single human life is important," stated Health Minister Prof .

Director General of the Bulgarian Red Cross Prof. Dr. Krassimir Gigov will head the Coordination Council, which will in charge of the implementation of the Coronavirus Vaccination Plan.
