Covid-19 vaccines to be exempt from VAT, the lawmakers adopted new text at first reading. 

Zero indirect levy is also envisaged for medical products for in-vitro diagnostics of Covid-19 and for services closely related to such vaccines and devices.

"There is no way for the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) to vote for a budget that would sink the Bulgarian economy," This is what Prof. Rumen Gechev, floor leader of „BSP for Bulgaria" told the Bulgarian National Radio.

Prof. Gechev noted that a huge part of the Bulgarian citizens and firms are not protected.

Bulgaria's Parliament failed on August 13 to secure the necessary quorum to hold an extraordinary sitting. The MPs from the ruling coalition partners, GERB and the United Patriots, were not present.

We want a change in the model through resignation of the government. Bulgaria is ruled by a parallel state. This was said at a press conference by the leader the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Korneliya Ninova, after a meeting of the party's Executive Bureau on June 9.

Bulgaria's MPs on April 6 voted to forgo their salaries as of April 1 for the duration of the coronavirus state of emergency. The proposal came this evening from the ruling GERB party and received unanimous support from 170 MPs and all parliamentary groups, BNT reported.

Bulgaria's Parliament Speaker Tsveta Karayancheva said on April 2 she has called an extraordinary sitting tomorrow. The agenda will include the proposed extension of the coronavirus state of emergency and updating of the budget.

The Ministry of Environment and Water has not received an application for transportation of waste by rail from Italy to Bulgaria. This was stated by the Minister of Environment and Water, Neno Dimov, on December 18 at a hearing at the National Assembly held at the request of the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), BNT reported.

The Parliament has rejected a motion proposed by the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) calling for resuming the parliamentary "blitz control" every first Wednesday of the month, a Focus News Agency reporter said. 

Bulgarian Parliament's Defence Committee on July 17 approved the contracts with the United States for the purchase of the the F-16 fighter aircrafts with 13 votes in favour and 8 against, reports BNT. 

The decision was adopted with the votes of GERB, MRF and United Patriots without "Ataka". The opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and Volya voted against.
