BSP returned to the president the unfulfilled third mandate to form a government.

Snap elections will take place in late March or early April. 

The Parliamentary Group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party gave a statement in parliament. "We brought out the most important priorities for Bulgaria and the Bulgarian people, which exist in the programs of all parties. We were looking for solutions to get out of the political crisis. We invited all the leaders of parties represented in the parliament for a conversation.

"Early elections are inevitable" - this is what BSP leader Kornelia Ninova said after the leadership meeting that took place in parliament. The conversation was between BSP, GERB, DPS and "Bulgarian Rise".

"We Continue the Change", "Democratic Bulgaria" and "Vazrazhdane" did not participate.

The leadership meeting organized by the parliamentary group, the receiver of the third mandate to form a government - BSP - began in the National Assembly.

The chairwoman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Kornelia Ninova talked about management priorities with the leaders of GERB Boyko Borissov, DPS Mustafa Karadayi and "Bulgarian Rise" Stefan Yanev.

The political parties were sharply criticized because of the information presented by "Die Welt" that Bulgaria sent weapons and fuel to Ukraine under the "Petkov" cabinet.

GERB and "Democratic Bulgaria", which insist that our country help Kyiv, criticized the previous cabinet for hiding the information and using intermediaries.

President Rumen Radev commented that BSP will do everything possible to fulfill the third mandate. The head of state said he was not guided by the Nexo scandal in choosing which party to give the last chance to form a cabinet because he had already made up his mind.

"Today, the Ukrainian ambassador demanded that Bulgaria change its previous position and start exporting weapons to Ukraine. This statement proves that we have not exported arms to them so far and refutes the whole manipulative, lying, organized and paid campaign on this subject against me personally, against the former ministry team and the regular government."

"This time we will have 121 deputies. People felt that in these 7 months we made a very good first step. Yes, the absolute change will take more than 7 months, but the first steps are a fact. A real change happened at Kapitan Andreevo and we stopped pesticides from entering the kitchen of Bulgarians.

The caretaker government is changing the entire management team of "Bulgargaz", bTV reports, referring to an application filed in the Commercial Register. The news was confirmed by the spokesman of the cabinet, Anton Kutev.
