A symbolic watch and an album about the Roman-Catholic Church in Romania are the gifts the Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dancila offered on Friday to Pope Francis on her private audience. According to a gov't information, the watch is manufactured by a Romanian, having Saint Francis of Assisi on its dial, inspired by a Giotto fresco.

Bulgarian President Radev Welcomed the Pope

The holy father was welcomed  by the head of state and politicians, reported NOVA TV. 
President Rumen Radev welcomed Pope Francis in front of the building of the presidency. This is the first stop of the Holy Father in Sofia.

The head of state thanked the head of the Catholic Church for having accepted the invitation to visit Bulgaria.

Pope Francis will arrive on Bulgarian soil at 10:00 on May 5, accompanied by the Secretary of State for the Holy See and the Vatican's top representatives, along with an official Vatican delegation, the Catholic Church said in a statement.
