Polakis accuses judicial officials of stalling major corruption cases

Flu claims one life in Greece

Greek health authorities have recorded the first death from complications caused by flu, according to weekly data from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO) on Friday.

West Nile virus linked to 34 deaths in Greece this year

Three more people have died as a result of complications after contracting the West Nile virus, bringing the death toll across Greece from the beginning of the year so far to 34, according to authorities.

According to the weekly epidemiological surveillance report of the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO), reported cases have reached 289 this year.

Four people died last week as a result of complications after contracting the West Nile virus, bringing the death toll across Greece from the beginning of the year to 31, according to authorities.
