Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria

''Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will file a complaint with the Constitutional Court, seeking the annulment of some texts of the public finances law, as the government is distributing funds mainly towards municipalities of the ruling party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB)'', BSP leader Korneliya Ninova told reporters, quoted by FOCUS News Agency.

The Parliament approved at first reading changes to the energy law introducing clear criteria in the use of thermal energy for agriculture, FOCUS News Agency reported.

The bill was backed by 91 MPs, 6 voted against, while 60 abstained.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has demanded the resignation of the Parliament's president, Dimitar Glavchev.

''The Parliament has not been working for six weeks now because the government and the ruling majority have no programme for governance and legislation'', BSP leader Korneliya Ninova told journalists, quoted by FOCUS News Agency.

''It is highly likely for Bulgaria to become part of the Schengen area after a successful presidency of the EU Council'', Tsvetan Tsvetanov, deputy chairman of Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party and MP, said, Focus News Agency reported.
 According to Tsvetanov, the issue has become a political one.

''I have already chosen the head of Sofia Directorate of the Ministry of Interior Mladen Marinov as Chief Secretary of the Interior Ministry'', said the new Interior Minister Valentin Radev in an interview for bTV.

Tomorrow, 4 May, at 9:00, the candidate for Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov, nominated by the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria parliamentary group, will hand over to President Rumen Radev a document for a successfully completed mandate for government formation, party's press office announced, quoted by Focus News Agency.
