Action Demanded After Landfill Fire Covers Belgrade in Smoke
NGOs, political parties and residents of Belgrade have called on the local authorities to ascertain responsibility for the fire that broke out at the Vinca landfill, near the Serbian capital, on Sunday, and covered almost the whole of the city and surrounding areas in smoke for more than 24 hours.

Crisis Staff session scheduled for Friday
Current epidemiological situation and possible additional mitigation of measures will be considered on the forthcoming session.
The Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesi, pointed out that he expects that the protocols for the organization of concerts and events will be accepted at the next session of the Crisis Staff.

Presidency meeting begins, army representatives also invited PHOTO
The beginning of the meeting was announced earlier at 11 o'clock, and in addition to the President of Serbia, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and members of the government, the meeting was also attended by representatives of all services involved in the fight against coronavirus.

"Experts and response teams of Belgrade's Public Health Emergency Operations Center have convey regular meetings on these issues. A fire that broke out early on Monday in the DM company's warehouse in Belgrade has spread to some 3,000 square meters, firefighter said.
Nobody was injured in the fire has in the meantime been contained.
The blaze at times reached up to 50 meters in height, while sporadic explosions were also heard.
