Turkish tourism association set to warn other websites, including Tripadvisor, upon Booking.com ruling

A leading Turkish tourism association is set to send a court decision against Booking.com to similar foreign online reservation portals, including Tripadvisor.com, to ask them to comply with the required competition rules or face legal action, daily Dünya reported on March 31. 

Competition probes open against Turkey's iron and steel giants

The Competition Board has opened a probe against a number of iron and steel companies, including Kardemir, according to an announcement on the board's website. 

The investigations were opened against Çağ Iron and Steel, Çelsantaş Iron Products, Yolbulan Iron Products and Yolbulan Shipment in addition to Kardemir. 

Local supermarket chain Migros plans to open over 150 new branches in 2016

Turkish supermarket chain Migros has said it plans to open 150 to 200 branches over this year in a written statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on April 12. 

In the statement, which summarizes the decisions held at the company's latest board meeting, the number of new, planned stores was set between 150 and 200.
