National Liberal Party (PNL) Chairman Klaus Iohannis on Saturday withdrew the resolution proposal on the designation of the party's candidate for the presidential elections, after he and Crin Antonescu entered this race.

Klaus Iohannis and Ioan Ghise ran for the party's chairmanship.

Iohannis received 1,334 votes from the delegates to the Congress and Ghise received 144 votes.
