BELGRADE - Serbia's PM Designate Milos Vucevic said on Wednesday the new government would immediately face serious and far-reaching foreign policy challenges, and added that defence of Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity - the fight for Kosovo-Metohija - would be the biggest challenge in the coming period.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday the situation regarding the so-called Kosovo's potential admission to the Council of Europe (CoE) was uncertain but that Germany was in a "brutal campaign" for Pristina's membership in the organisation.

Last week I attended the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. The parliamentarians from 46 European states, including former Tory ministers, voted to accept Kosovo into membership despite loud objections from Serbia.
