The Cabinet Will Decide Today on thе Participation of Bulgarian Armed Forces in Afghanistan

At its regular governmental meeting, the Council of Ministers will decide to discontinue the involvement of  troops from our armed forces in the operation of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, reported BGNES.

Tomislav Donchev Interrogated About the National Palace of Culture

Yesterday, the Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev was interrogated by the Prosecutor's Оffice about the National Palace of Culture (NDK), the spokesman of the Prosecutor's office General Rumyana Arnaudova said.

Donchev was the head of the National Palace of Culture in the previous government of GERB.

Council of Ministers Adopted the 1st Draft of a National Programme for the Bulgarian EU Presidency

The Council of Ministers adopted on 12 July the first draft of a national programme for the Bulgarian EU Presidency, reported BNT.

Bulgaria will send three main messages during its Presidency of the Council of the EU: consensus, competitiveness and cohesion.

New Plan for Taxing Waste Disposal

The payment of a "garbage fee" changes dramatically. The current principle on which the municipality's waste of garbage was formed is based on the tax assessment of the property, but this method remains in the past. Instead, the polluter pays principle is introduced. Such a decision was taken today by the Council of Ministers, which approved amendments to the Local Taxes and Fees Act.

Part of Praga Blvd and Knyaz Al. Dondukov in Sofia to be Closed Due to Reconstruction

Bulgarian Council of Ministers Approves Draft Agreement on Labour Migration with Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine

At its regular weekly sitting, the Council of Ministers approved draft agreements on labour migration with Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine.

After the sitting Deputy Prime Minister Valeri Simeonov, who is in charge of Bulgarians abroad, announced that persons wishing to work in Bulgaria for a period of 90 days will now be able to obtain the documents required within the space of 7 days.
